It's been quite a while since I had arm liposuction, so I'll leave a review! I originally had very prominent back-of-the-upper-arm bulges, and I also had a fairly large accessory breast. So even if I lost weight, my arms still made my whole upper body look bulky, and I couldn't really get that delicate look, which always stressed me out. Especially my upper body looking puffy was my biggest concern. After the surgery, the swelling and bruising lasted longer than I expected. For me it took more than a month, and if I include the minor swelling, I think it was almost 3 months. At first, because of the swelling, the line didn't show right away as much as I had expected, so I was a little worried, but as time passed I could feel the contour becoming more defined. I also did gua sha and made an effort to go in for post-op care diligently. As time passed, the arm line definitely became slimmer and my upper body looked more delicate, so my satisfaction kept going up. The biggest change was that I could wear clothes I used to lack confidence in. I used to avoid sleeveless tops because of my arms, but now I wear sleeveless tops confidently. Since my upper body looks much slimmer in clothes than before, I naturally gained confidence too. And the thing I remember most is hearing people around me say I looked more delicate after the surgery. Because other people noticed before I did in the mirror, it made me realize the contour really had changed a lot. The question people ask most often is how long the swelling and bruising last. It varies from person to person, but for me it lasted quite a while. I think it's best to expect bruising to last more than a month and minor swelling to take about 3 months to fully go down. At first I was worried because of the swelling, but as time passed the line kept getting more defined. Now I feel much more delicate than before, and I can wear sleeveless tops comfortably, so personally I'm satisfied with how things turned out
