Nose Re-Surgery

Septal extension removal

I was born with a small bulbous nose, and the tip of my nose was slightly droopy, so it was a long nose. During my second surgery they used septal cartilage and ear cartilage to support the columella, but when I asked ChatGPT about the surgical record from my third surgery, it said it was an autologous costal cartilage septal extension. I’m going to have it removed at the 6-month mark, but is it okay to remove the septal extension? I had my revision at a hospital that specializes in removal procedures, but as soon as the splint came off I felt like something was wrong, so I asked to book a consultation for removal. At the follow-up, when I asked what my nose was like before surgery after taking the whole tip out during the operation, they said they didn’t remember. Do they even do septal extension for a long nose with a droopy nose? I’m going crazy from frustration. I’m not going to the revision hospital for removal. Zero trust.
