Liposuction Reviews

BST Review

I guess an abdominoplasty I had a long time ago was the root cause, because over time my skin got all crinkly and wrinkled, and the stress was honestly driving me crazy. I went around looking for a clinic, thinking maybe I could get a revision liposuction to hide my stomach, but everywhere I went they said the adhesions inside were too severe for liposuction to help and that I’d need a lift... Hearing that really broke me down mentally. Since it’s a surgery that leaves scars, it wasn’t easy to decide, and I agonized over it for a really long time before finally having an abdominoplasty. In the beginning after surgery, the swelling just wouldn’t go down and I was so bloated that I kept thinking, did I mess it up again.. is this not even going to work? I was extremely anxious and uneasy inside. But I trusted the hospital, wore the compression garment really diligently, and kept going to all the aftercare they provided, and as the remaining swelling went down, the uneven areas smoothed out completely, like they’d been ironed flat. After having children, I used to only wear loose clothes to cover my wrinkled belly, but after surgery my line was shaped so nicely that these days I can wear crop tops whenever I want. What I like most is that the navel, which had been buried in the fat and had no shape at all, was brought out so beautifully in a vertical shape by the director..! What the director said during the consultation now makes sense: because I disliked scars, I kept circling around trying things like procedures, but in the end I’d still have no choice but to get an abdominoplasty. If I had kept hesitating and not had the surgery, I think I’d still be depressed from hiding my stomach all the time. These days, every time I look in the mirror, I think I’m really glad I had the abdominoplasty!!
