[2-week post-op review] Two weeks already! The pain is decreasing and I like the shape.
It has already been exactly two weeks since my breast surgery. Right after surgery, time felt so slow, but as I gradually adjusted to daily life, it’s already day 14!
Up until one week after surgery, I was bothered by occasional tingling sensations in the whole breast and around the area where the accessory breast tissue was removed, and especially the upper band kept rubbing against my skin, so my skin felt quite uncomfortable and stuffy. But as they say, time really does heal, and once I entered the second week, the tingling sensation decreased a lot and the uncomfortable parts became much more comfortable.
For those reading the review, I’ll briefly share my basic stats and surgery details. Basic stats: 160 cm / 46 kg Surgery info: Motiva for pectus excavatum and asymmetry correction (right 245 cc / left 185 cc) + total 100 cc bilateral autologous fat grafting (accessory breast tissue removal and thigh fat harvesting, hybrid)
Because I had a slight pectus excavatum and asymmetry on both sides, I worried a lot before surgery about whether the line would come out nicely. But thanks to the director carefully customizing the implant volume and fat grafting while considering my uneven breasts and pectus-type body shape, every time I look in the mirror now, I really like the breast size, overall proportions, and the line.
The area where the accessory breast tissue was removed and the breast sensation are still at the stage where the tissue is healing, so they feel a little lumpy and firm for now. But since this is said to be a natural part of the healing process as the internal wounds settle well, I’m trying not to rush and to wait calmly.
Even now that the major swelling has gone down a lot, I’m satisfied, and I’m already looking forward to how things will look at 1 month and 3 months, when the remaining swelling is gone and the tissue softness becomes much more supple and smooth! I’ll take good care of myself and come back with my next 1-month follow-up review.
