I’m too lazy to type, so I’ll do a voice memo instead. I had it done at ㅂㅂ Plastic Surgery, for double eyelids and upper canthoplasty. It was by Dr. ㅈㅅㅇ. I didn’t go anywhere else and only went here. They said the price would be told at the consultation because I had to come in. The front-desk staff looked annoyed. The consultation starts with photos, then you meet the director, and she was really, really kind. I can’t remember her name..? She had a bob haircut. When I went into the consultation, my photo was up on the computer screen and they told me what percentage of my iris was visible, then shared the surgical methods that would suit that. I already had double eyelids, so I wanted a lateral canthoplasty and epicanthoplasty. If possible, I also wanted lower canthoplasty, and after that I wanted to use the incisional method to set my crease just a little higher than my original line. So I went in thinking the cost would be high, but the director said that compared with my iris and the spacing of my whole facial features, I probably didn’t need it. When I asked what I should do then, she asked what my concern was, and when I said I looked too fierce, she said an incisional double-eyelid procedure with a slight upper canthoplasty would be enough. So I said okay and she connected me with the surgeon consultation. But I also knew that my eyes weren’t really the problem and that my cheekbones and jaw would need work. So when I mentioned that to the director, she said it would be better to get chin Botox and refine my face shape a bit rather than making my features bigger, but still, since I was already there, I was going to get the consultation and do the double-eyelid surgery. The surgeon came in looking kind of tired from surgery, if I had to say, but somehow like he was trying his best..? He was very kind. Even when the surgeon came in, he said not to do anything else and just do incisional double eyelids and a slight upper canthoplasty, so I agreed. Before the surgeon came in, the director had already drawn my crease, and I really liked that line, so I asked her to draw it one more time like that. She said the surgeon would be better at setting the line, so I said okay. When the surgeon came in, he redid the line a few more times. Then he asked if I had any questions, and when I said no, he must have been extremely busy because he left in a hurry. I put down a 100,000 won deposit, and because I booked immediately, I’m not sure, but I think there was a consultation fee? I’m not sure, maybe around 50,000 won? Then when we were setting the surgery date, they asked if I had a preferred date. I said this date and this time, but they said it was full, so I chose another date at that time, and that was full too. When I asked then when there was an opening, they showed me the schedule on a screen. But they really were busy, so I got my preferred date. On the day of surgery, opening time was 10 o’clock, but they told me to come by 9:30, so I went at 9:30, waited a bit, changed clothes, washed my face, took photos, and then went straight into surgery. The operating room was smaller than I expected. It was small, but the sections were separated, so it felt like a little room; it was very clean and very minimal. As far as I know, the two surgeons who do the most procedures there were working, and there were three patients including me who went in at almost the same time? So I thought maybe they would move between rooms while operating, but I don’t know the details. The doctor drew the design once more in the operating room and asked if it was okay, but I didn’t really know anything, so surgery started right away. The anesthesia took about 5 minutes, and because the anesthesia didn’t really take well for me, I just felt dizzy and couldn’t fall asleep, so I stayed there. I waited lying down for quite a while. I think they went to another room a few times to set another crease line and came back, but anyway, the surgery took about 20 minutes? It might have felt like 20 minutes longer. Not long after the surgery started, they said the line they had made for me looked like it might turn out too high, so they’d set it a little lower. I said yes, please do that. I asked them not to make it too high. In the middle, I felt something like a needle and something like thread being pulled out. Isn’t it normal not to feel anything? But I could feel it, so I said, I think the anesthesia isn’t working, and they gave me more medication again. I think I’m the type whose anesthesia doesn’t take well; in the past, there were lots of times when it didn’t work and they had to add more. Anyway, leaving that aside, after the surgery the doctor said it turned out pretty and a nurse dragged me out. I went to the lounge, sat in a recliner-like sofa, used a cooling pack for about 5 minutes, changed clothes, came out, and they explained the prescription and precautions, then basically told me to get lost~ I figured they were busy, so that was understandable. There was almost no swelling, and I usually don’t swell much anyway.. I didn’t bruise either. That day I felt fine, so I walked around Gangnam, and after about 2 hours the anesthesia wore off and it hurt a lot, but it got better after I took the prescribed medicine. While walking around, I felt my face get warm, looked at the camera, and there was blood from the surgical site, so I was startled. It was bleeding quite a bit. So I called the hospital and said, I’m bleeding.. and they kept asking me a lot of questions, so I answered them.. If it were me, I would have just told them to come in, honestly They asked whether I wanted to come back a bit later because the surgeon was in a nose consultation, so I said, I’ll come when the stitches are removed, please check it then, and didn’t go. While we were talking, the bleeding stopped. They said there might be a lot of swelling, so I was worried, but I didn’t swell at all? The reason I booked right away was that even though I wanted the procedure, they looked at my eyes and removed all the pointless options for me. They said there wouldn’t be much difference after surgery, so I didn’t need to do it, and after hearing that I booked immediately. Conclusion: I went because my eyes were easy for double-eyelid surgery and the surgeon is said to be good, so if the front-desk staff were just a bit kinder, I think I’d recommend it to other people too. The end~~ I hope everyone gets prettier. Pretty people are the best!!
