Reason for surgery I’ve already lived with no double eyelids for way too long, so I didn’t want to get double-eyelid surgery, but as my skin kept sagging more and more, I had to keep using my forehead muscles a lot, and my pupils were being covered too, so I was in a ptosis state.. My eyelashes were also poking my eyes so much that it was uncomfortable, so while I was getting a consultation for eye-shape correction, I decided to go ahead with surgery..
Surgical method While I was consulting about eye-shape correction, I was also advised to consider a forehead lift, so I hesitated, but at another place they said it could be corrected with eye-shape correction alone, so I had incision double-eyelid surgery + eye-shape correction + ptosis correction together. Originally I was thinking of doing eye-shape correction without double eyelids, but I thought even a hidden double eyelid would be better, so I asked them to make it into a very thin hidden double eyelid.
Surgical results Honestly, I thought making it look natural would be harder, but in the end I’m very satisfied now haha. It’s been about a month since surgery now, and even though it was an incision, there isn’t a lot of swelling, right? Even right after surgery there wasn’t much swelling, and I don’t think it was very painful either. Compared to how much I worried, it felt like it ended surprisingly quickly?? lol I wondered if double eyelids were really necessary since my eyes were big even without them, but only the hidden-part that was covered got corrected, so my eyes look much bigger than before and the feeling of heaviness has really lessened. More than anything, opening my eyes!! My eyelashes poking my eyes!! That has also reduced a lot, I think. The line is exactly the hidden double eyelid I wanted, barely visible lol I think plastic surgery helps not only with aesthetics but also with functional aspects too. Of course, I’m happy with it aesthetically as well Anyway, I’m personally very satisfied, so I worked up the courage to post a review like this^^
