Eye Surgery Reviews

Eye revision surgery line lowering, 3 months

A long time ago, after my double eyelid surgery, it opened up again, so I had revision surgery with an incision. But because of the deep fixation, high line, lashes and hidden double-eyelid fold being lifted, and the dark scar, it was obvious to anyone that I’d had double eyelid surgery, and even after about 10 years it still looked swollen as if the swelling never went away. Since I’d already had one case of it opening up again, and because it had been fixed strongly so it wouldn’t open, it became a sausage eye, so I worried for a very long time that if I did re-revision surgery naturally it might open again, and if it didn’t open it might become a sausage eye again. On the consultation day, I went to several clinics nearby, including Gift Plastic Surgery. At other hospitals, the director seemed to see me in a bit of a rushed way, almost as if pressed for time, and I thought it might be because the consultation and surgery were scheduled tightly, so I got the feeling the surgery might be done more quickly and less carefully. Among the clinics I consulted, Director Yoo Gi-hyeon felt the most meticulous and sincere. He checked whether I had a desired line and whether I had a photo, and I said that line didn’t matter as long as it was natural. During the consultation, he pointed out things that the other clinics and even I had not noticed before, like asymmetry near the inner corner of the eyes, and he carefully adjusted the line several times, so I felt he would also be meticulous and cautious during surgery. Fortunately, I had enough skin so it could be done with incision rather than two-line reduction, and he said they would do it with eye correction. I also thought that although he noticed small details, the overall image and feel when entering the hospital would be the most aesthetically pleasing. I was nervous because it had been a long time since my last surgery, but there was almost no pain, and even right after the operation the swelling was much less than I had expected. For about 1-2 weeks there was a little swelling in the morning, but it was so little that it was similar to before surgery. At the one-month checkup, the director gave me an injection for swelling, and after about a month and a half the swelling went down a lot and it became much more natural. The sausage-eye look disappeared and I’m very satisfied. Because it was re-revision surgery and a difficult case with asymmetry, dark scars, sausage eyes, and deep fixation, I really agonized over it for a long time, and if the timing had been right, I would have regretted not getting surgery from Director Yoo Gi-hyeon sooner. For over 10 years I had a very unnatural sausage-eye look and would go out wearing glasses or a hat whenever I didn’t do eye makeup so that my eyes wouldn’t show much, but now that it’s been three months, the sausage-eye feeling is really gone and I can go out comfortably.
