I had revision contour surgery (for nonunion and insufficient effect), and it has been about two and a half months since the operation. But at first, of course, I couldn't really eat anything, and after that, around week 3? maybe a month in? I caught a really bad cold, and since then, for the past two months, I haven't had any sense of taste. I'm going to a university hospital, and they say my smell test is normal. I'm taking steroids, but... anyway, is there anyone here with this issue? The longer it goes on, the more worried I get. If anyone has lost their sense of taste (even if I eat sugar, I can't feel any taste on my tongue), please give me some tips... Will it come back with time? I'm going crazy with depression. And as for the contour surgery... well, I honestly still don't know the result yet. I have hollowed cheeks, and my cheekbones still stick out ...... but I'm being told it's swelling, so I'm waiting......................
