I had revision rhinoplasty with Director Lee Ji-hwan at Between Plastic Surgery. The surgery involved removing the existing L-shaped silicone implant and using a custom implant, ear cartilage, and septal cartilage, and alar reduction was also done. Before, my nose felt shorter in length, but after the surgery the tip has come down a lot and is now sitting well in a normal position. They also stitched the nostril reduction carefully, so I am less worried about scarring. To help the nose settle after surgery, they said they would also inject Botox into the alar area. So at first the nose may look a bit smaller on both sides, but as time passes it seems to return to a more natural shape. It has only been a month, so there is still a lot of swelling at the tip, but I can live my normal daily life. I am looking forward to the swelling going down because I think the line will become even prettier over time.
