Now that it’s been 4 weeks, a lot of the swelling has definitely gone down and the lines have settled into place. Still, I can still feel a pulling sensation, and since around week 2 it seemed like some bio-bond had formed. So for the upper body, I received about 2 rounds of manual therapy at the hospital as they explained. Lymphatic massage definitely loosened the clumped-up areas and made the swelling go down a lot. Even if I took the swelling-reduction medicine, I’m someone who swells very easily, so after work it would gather and swell again, and for the lower body I kept stretching and doing lymphatic massage at home whenever I could. But it seems like self-massage is a bit insufficient The inner thigh/groin area is still a bit swollen, and I can feel that circulation isn’t very good, so I’m planning to go back to the hospital soon for manual therapy! It’s been about a month of recovery, so I’ve been eating everything I wanted, but now I’m going to start dieting to manage the line!! At 4 weeks, the people at work keep saying I seem to be eating everything and not dieting at all, but I’ve lost a lot of weight and asking what I did to my face, so I’m extremely happy. But the best part is that people can’t tell what I had done My friends also say I’m glad I did it!!! There are no scars at all around the area under the ears or under the chin on the face, and on the back and groin areas the scars are still there. Still, I can feel them gradually fading as time passes, so I think they’ll be gone in about 3 months. The bruising disappeared completely in weeks 2 to 3, so since I live with my parents, I’ve been able to go about my daily life without it being noticeable to the point that they still don’t know what I had done. These days I can confidently wear sleeveless tops, bootcut pants, shorts, and skirts, and I even bought my first bikini to go out in two days. I’m really looking forward to it!!! Week 1 and week 4 feel totally different, and I’m also curious what it’ll be like a few months from now, so I’ll come back with another review in a month or two~
