I am in my early thirties, and as the elasticity under my eyes started to drop, the under-eye area would bulge when I was tired, so I decided I wanted surgery. But it was never severely bulging, so it was not really necessary. After the surgery, the bulging under the eyes disappeared, but because this is a surgery that creates adhesion in the under-eye area, think of it as sticking tightly to the inner skin around the lower eye. I sorted out my thoughts and figured it is probably just the nature of the procedure. There is something gained, but when I smile, the eye-smile on the front side of the eye becomes unnatural, and I also got a thread-like line. I want people to know that under-eye fat repositioning is not zero risk when it comes to affecting the eye shape.
