It’s already been 10 months since my back and lower canthoplasty~ Before surgery, when I looked up reviews, everyone said they developed dry eyes, so I was mentally prepared like, “Ah, maybe my eyes will feel dry once time passes too.” But so far I haven’t had any dryness at all, and there really hasn’t been a single side effect I’d call a surgery complication. I was lazy and thought it would probably get better with time, so I didn’t even bother applying healing cream separately. Up until 6 months, there was a faint but subtle reddish tint left, but now there’s absolutely no redness from the surgical scar at all. The reason it’s so great to have no scar is that my eyes got bigger, but because there’s no scar, it doesn’t look obvious.. Still, the before-and-after difference is definitely there. It opened exactly the way I wanted, and it fits my eyes perfectly, so honestly no one would know unless I said it. It looks like my original eyes, just with the outer corners slightly opened, giving a subtle exotic feel? If you’re worried about back and lower canthoplasty, I recommend not dragging it out and just doing it. Personally, I think back and lower canthoplasty makes the eyes look refreshed much more than front canthoplasty!
