I had my surgery almost as a last-minute one right before the Gangnam days break. I was so determined that I didn’t visit any other hospitals and only made a booking at this one. The waiting time was so long that I felt helpless, but I got an earlier consultation than expected because I was able to take a canceled slot. At the consultation with the director, I already knew he had a notorious reputation, and I trusted his sense of aesthetics, so I listened to his opinion more than my own. At the consultation, I think I mostly just said I wanted a glamorous nose that would harmonize with my face. It was my first surgery, and he recommended autologous costal cartilage, so I went with that. I went into the operating room in the morning and came out at night. I don’t remember what time it was... Anyway, I slept in the hospital overnight and was discharged the next day. At first I really liked my nose. But maybe because autologous costal cartilage was used, the tip was very hard, and because the columella had been lowered, it was fixed in place, so when I smiled the area around the philtrum felt quite uncomfortable. Over time, the tip even dropped. Also, I tend to have a nose that spreads a lot when I smile, so it seems like my skin kept pressing on the autologous costal cartilage at the tip. The tip became slightly bent. After experiencing all kinds of discomfort, I went to ㄱㅇㅅ and had the entire thing removed. It was such a relief. Of course I did experience unexpected side effects, but I still think the director is skilled. Oh, and suddenly something like a dot appeared on the columella, and I kept wondering what it was until one day a small end came out, so I pulled it with tweezers and it turned out to be a stitch. I’m not sure if it was a dissolvable one or what Just for reference.
