I got lip filler to improve a slight lip asymmetry

It wasn’t noticeable enough to stand out, but the slight left-right asymmetry in my lips was starting to bother me, so I got lip filler. It kept bothering me when taking photos or smiling that one side of my lip line or the corner of my mouth looked different, so I wanted to get it in a way that would just balance things naturally. I think filler isn’t just about volume, but also about the doctor’s aesthetic sense and design, so after a lot of thought I got it at Dress. I had double eyelid surgery there before, and they didn’t make any unnecessary recommendations, and the surgery went well too. During the consultation, they looked at the shape of my lips and the overall balance, and instead of overdoing the design, we decided on a direction that would improve things naturally. At first, because of swelling, it felt a little fuller than I had expected, but after some time the swelling went down and it settled much more naturally. At first I worried that because it was filler, my lips might stand out too much or look overdone, but once I actually got it, it felt less like my volume was being made much bigger and more like my original lip line had been neatly refined, so I’m satisfied. Especially once the left-right balance was corrected, the overall impression of my mouth looked much cleaner too. It’s not a change that stands out a lot, but because the part that kept bothering me was improved, I think I’m very satisfied.
