The day I finally took a proper shower after getting my stitches removed.. I had been holding on with dry shampoo, but washing my hair with warm water really felt like a relief Right now I’m just taking it easy.. In the beginning, lifting my arms upward was much harder than I expected, but now raising my arms when washing my face or hair is so much easier. At first the compression bra felt uncomfortably tight, but after wearing it for a while, now I actually feel awkward if I don’t wear it I guess the body really does adapt. I had the incision through my armpit, and the incision site is healing inside the crease, so even when I look in the mirror it doesn’t feel very bothersome. I wasn’t completely free of scar worries, but it seems to be hiding well in its location, which is a relief. I’ll need to keep watching it, but my current satisfaction level is quite high
