Before surgery 1> Since I was little, my side cheekbones, square jaw, and blunt chin made my face look broad and flat, which was a complex of mine. While browsing plastic surgery apps and cafe reviews, I found Cookie Plastic Surgery and booked a consultation right away. I had already looked through all the reviews and even seen the before-and-after CTs posted in the chat room, so it was basically a foregone conclusion. I shamelessly brought a photo of Karina with me, and after the consultation, Director Jang Seong-mo’s calm style and the way he already understood everything I wanted without me having to say it became the decisive reason I chose Cookie Plastic Surgery. After the consultation and setting the date, I think I was just looking forward to the surgery day as soon as possible. It was my first time having surgery that involved the bones, so I was really scared, but the director kept asking what I wanted right up until just before going in and reassured me that it would go well, which was comforting... After surgery 2> The swelling peaked on days 3-4, and until day 7 I looked rough By around week 3, as the swelling went down, my face started to show the kind of line you see on CT images. After surgery 3> Once I got past the one-month mark, there was still some hamster-like swelling around the mouth, but people around me still said I seemed different. By around 3 months, the feeling in my mouth and my nerves were almost completely back, and I was able to do most of my daily life. After surgery 4> By around 6 months, I had forgotten I even had surgery... It’s not exactly the Karina I wanted, but I think it’s close enough, so I’m satisfied. Overall, since it’s a private clinic, communication when delivering requests or talking with the manager seemed a bit smoother. The director is also consistently the same every time I see him, calm and gentle. Now I plan to just maintain with some lifting care. Cookie is expensive, but I admit they’re good at contour surgery!
