14 years ago, I saw my friend's nose surgery and got tempted, so without thinking much, I had 3 mm silicone put in and had the nasal tip operated on with septal cartilage. But as time went by, it felt like my nose was becoming more upturned than before, and the nasal tip shape dropped straight down in a line, which I really hated seeing.. And because of the anxiety that I would have to remove it someday, I had full removal surgery.
After surgery, they said there was a lot of scar tissue in my nose, and because the silicone was long, one side of the nostril wing was pressed down, so the nostril wing had also become deformed ㅜㅜ (They said that during the removal surgery, they spread the nostril wing as much as possible and tied it with thread.) When I saw the removed implant photo, I thought, ah, I'm glad I had the surgery, but since I had the surgery so long ago and there was no guarantee how my nose shape would turn out, I was so anxious until the splint was removed... Most of all, I had nasal packing in until day 5, so breathing through my mouth was hell ㅠㅠ
Anyway, on day 5 after surgery, I had the nasal packing, splint, and external stitches removed. Since I live outside Seoul, the consultant finished everything at once for me. It didn't feel as fish-faced? as I expected (by my standards), and my nasal tip felt like it had come down slightly compared to before surgery, and it looked plump, which was nice~~~ There is still swelling and it hasn't been long since surgery, so I don't know how it will gradually change, but right now I am very, very satisfied and feel so relieved!!
I'll try to leave another review again in about a month~!
