Nose Surgery Reviews

Happy Every Day Since My Nose Surgery (Review of Getting Rid of a Bulbous Nose + Hump Nose)

My nose was originally small, low, and short, so I always felt a bit dissatisfied with it From the front, my nostrils showed a little and it also looked wide and bulbous like a bulbous nose, which I hated. From the side, I had a hump too, so in photos my nose was the only thing I noticed, and it was frustrating I always had to edit the nose first when retouching, which was stressful Because it was my first rhinoplasty, I looked into hospitals quite a bit, and among the several places I consulted, Director Choo Sung-cheol at ㄷㄷㅇ(ㅣㅔㅣ) understood the semi-natural, almost straight-but-slightly-raised look I wanted the best! He explained that rather than just making it higher, preserving the tip and the overall length would suit me better, and that made the direction really clear to me Since it was a case where the tip needed to be reduced a little, they recommended donated rib cartilage. I was worried at first, but they said it could help support the tip stably, so I decided on it! The fact that there was no harvesting process like with autologous rib cartilage also made me feel more at ease~ It’s been about a month since the surgery, and the tip feels like it has settled much more naturally than before The wide look from the front has also decreased a lot, and as the tip line came alive, my overall impression seems a bit sharper too! The side profile also looks much cleaner as the hump has been corrected, and I feel like it is gradually settling into the semi-natural, almost straight-but-slightly-raised look I had in mind, so it’s fun to watch the progress! Especially since supporting the tip was important, seeing the shape stabilize little by little over the past month helped me understand why they recommended donated rib cartilage! I think the remaining swelling will still go down more, so I’m 계속 watching it! Still, compared with before, I no longer have to focus on my nose first every time I look at photos, and that’s the best part!
