My nose was originally low and didn’t have much of a bridge. When I was 20, I had nose surgery using ear cartilage, but over time it gradually settled down, so I looked into revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage. I decided to have the surgery because the doctor was kind and meticulous during the consultation. The result was satisfying, and everyone says my nose is high and pretty. However, because of the nature of autologous costal cartilage, I think I have to accept that there is a scar under my chest, and that my nose is so firm that I had no choice but to come clean about the surgery to my boyfriend. After the surgery, the aftercare was also handled well.
