For Those Considering Mini Lift Surgery

As I entered my 40s, the sagging in my cheeks and the loss of definition in my jawline bothered me the most When I took photos, my facial contours no longer looked the same as before, and my nasolabial folds looked deeper too, so I was looking into lifting surgery. After comparing thread lifting, facelift, and mini lift, I had consultations at a few places, and at ㅇㅇㄷ, Director ㄱㅈㅇ said that in my case the sagging wasn’t severe enough to go for a facelift, which would feel a bit excessive, and that a mini lift would be more appropriate than thread lifting. After hearing the explanation that it’s important to lift in line with the direction of the sagging rather than pulling the face too forcefully, I decided to have surgery at ID Hospital. There was inevitably some initial swelling, but as time passed it gradually became more natural, and what I’m happiest with is the more defined jawline. The cheek sagging also feels improved compared to before, and unlike what I was worried about, it doesn’t look overpulled or make my expression feel awkward. Rather than a dramatic change, it’s more like the sagging areas were tidied up and I regained the feel of my old face, so I’m satisfied. People around me have also said I look a little brighter and younger, and for me, who wanted a natural change, it seems like the right choice.
