The under-eye area had puffed out and looked hollow and aged, which is why I decided to have surgery. For about 3 days afterward, the swelling was worse than I expected, but once it went down, the under-eye area became flat and everyone said I looked better. One eye still seems to need more time, maybe because of swelling. The hospital doctor and the staff were all kind.
