I had an augmentation surgery at another hospital 5 years ago, and although there were no special side effects, I decided on removal because for the past 2 years I had severe neck and shoulder pain and a foreign-body sensation. I could have had it removed at the original hospital, but since the original incision was an inframammary incision, I wanted to do it at a clinic where the scar could be minimized. After researching, I chose this hospital, and the surgery was completed neatly, so I’m writing this review with satisfaction. It was done as a simple removal without capsule removal, making only about half of the old inframammary scar incision (ultrasound showed no problems with the implant). Compared with the augmentation surgery, the pain was far less and recovery was faster. The neck and shoulder pain disappeared as soon as the implant was removed, and my body feels much lighter. For the following 6 months, Director Kim Ji-hyeok, who performed the surgery, personally did scar laser treatment once a month, which was reassuring and nice. The photos are the left and right incision scars one month after removal, and I think they will heal neatly over time!
