Inner corner eye surgery review

On June 19, I had inner corner eye surgery and full-face fat grafting with Director Shim Jeong-hwan at Uiverse Plastic Surgery, and now 45 days have passed, so I’m leaving a review. The photos are from before surgery and from day 40 after surgery. When I was looking for a clinic, I found information through this community, and on the day of surgery I had consultations at three places in total. After comparing several places, the one I trusted most was Uiverse Plastic Surgery. Director Shim Jeong-hwan calmly explained each question one by one, and even when I asked about things I was curious about, he consulted me thoroughly without seeming annoyed. The counseling director was also kind, and overall I gained trust, which is why I ultimately decided on surgery. The clinic had the feel of a typical plastic surgery clinic with a generally clean atmosphere, and the staff were also quite kind. The wait wasn’t long either, so I liked that I could get a consultation almost right away. What I liked most about the consultation was that there was absolutely no excessive sales pressure. They explained in detail what changes happen when you do inner corner eye surgery, and after getting enough counseling I was able to decide on surgery. On the day of surgery, I was much more nervous than I expected. My hands and feet were sweating, and a staff member asked if I was nervous and tried to help me relax. The design was checked once before entering the operating room, and the operating room had a generally busy atmosphere. The inner corner eye surgery was done under sedation anesthesia, but I woke up in the middle, and I remember telling them it hurt because I could vividly feel the needle going in and out. From my perspective, the surgery also felt long. On the other hand, the fat grafting was done under sedation anesthesia, so I barely remember the fat harvest or grafting process, and I didn’t feel any pain. In the recovery room, when I opened my eyes, my face was throbbing and felt very tight, and I was quite dizzy. My face felt much more sore and swollen than my eyes. The surgery ended late, and there was a staff member who stayed until the very end, but personally I felt bad about staying too long even though I still hadn’t recovered enough, so I said I wanted to be discharged on my own. Even after arriving at the lodging, the dizziness continued for a while. The recovery process was longer than I expected. The eye swelling lasted about 2 weeks, and my face felt hard and swollen for about 3 weeks. Bruising on the eyes and face also lasted about 2 weeks, and the thigh where fat was harvested had bruising the longest, staying severe for about 3 weeks. I still have a pulling sensation in my thigh, and it hurts when touched. In the early stage there was also heat and a bumpy feeling, but that has been gradually improving over time. For recovery, I iced as often as possible, and I started washing my face with water after the stitches were removed. Eating was not particularly uncomfortable, and I managed meals well. However, after the fat grafting I was worried that the shape might change, so for a while I tried to sleep lying flat on my back, and that was the most uncomfortable part. The aftercare was satisfactory. The clinic contacted me first the day after surgery to check on my condition, and when I left inquiries I got replies relatively quickly. The stitch removal was also done as carefully as possible by the nurse, and the staff were kind every time I visited. At present, about one month after surgery, the parts I’m happiest with are the improved epicanthal fold from the inner corner eye surgery and the added volume to my whole face from the full-face fat grafting. In particular, after the fat grafting, many people around me said I look much younger and that my face has more dimension than before. However, there are still parts I need to keep watching. After the inner corner eye surgery, there are thick white scars left under both eyes, and on the right side there is still a D shape visible, just as I felt right after the operation, which worries me. Because of the director’s vacation schedule, I haven’t had a follow-up visit yet, so I plan to get a consultation soon and check the exact condition again after that. The full-face fat grafting is overall satisfying, but the forehead, between the eyebrows, and the temples feel like the fat has gone down a bit faster than in other areas. The harvested thigh area still has discoloration and pulling pain, and when I asked the clinic, they told me that recovery would take about 6 months. Personally, I started toning laser treatment to improve the discoloration. Overall, I still seem to be in the recovery process, so I think it’s too early to judge the final result. I’m very satisfied with the fat grafting so far, and for the inner corner eye surgery I plan to watch the scars and shape a bit longer before making a final judgment. I’ll keep monitoring how much the scars improve together with the follow-up visits and post reviews again after 3 months and 6 months.
