I think a lot of people are stressed about their front teeth, and I was one of them. My alignment is not that severe, but honestly that is only because I already had orthodontic treatment to get it to this point.. My front teeth were slightly different in shape and had some staining, so every time I took photos, it bothered me more than I expected. Other people might not notice, but every time I looked in the mirror, that was all I could see, so I kept worrying about it. Even when I smiled, I kept myself from opening my mouth too wide... At first I thought maybe whitening alone would be enough, but it turns out the problem was not the staining - the discolored teeth just needed to be filed down and laminated.. In the end I started looking into laminate veneers. But as anyone who has searched knows, there are too many ads, and a lot of places say you absolutely have to do a lot of them (when I went around the clinics near Sinsa Station, they kind of pushed the number all the way up to 16...? It felt a bit odd... I am not trying to live looking only at my own teeth..). I also heard they shave a lot of tooth structure, so honestly I worried a lot.. You know that awful shark-tooth look when they over-shave them? So I consulted at a few places, and the most important thing for me was whether they would avoid overtreatment. What I really liked here was that there was absolutely no vibe of “do a few more.” On the contrary, they said only the necessary number would be enough, and there was no push to add random extras, so I felt good about that. And the thing I was most worried about was tooth reduction, but they explained that part in a way that minimized the burden and handled it accordingly, which put me at ease. I was scared because I had heard laminate veneers mean shaving down the teeth a lot, but they really eased a lot of those worries. More than anything, I am a person who hates looking ugly, and you know that dark, obvious laminate look.. like several xylitol gums stuck together.. I am not the type who likes procedures that shout, “I had something done~”, so while I was looking for a place that does not overtreat, I also thought finding a director with good aesthetics was really important. This place had exactly the kind of look I wanted: a reasonable budget and a natural tooth-like feel. It was more of that Objeo Pure vibe..? Not the kind of white that screams white, but the subtle translucent edge at the ends, you know. They preserved that while matching it to my original teeth and face, and that was what I was happiest with. The result was honestly extremely satisfying... If you look at the before photo, you can clearly see why my front teeth bothered me so much, but in the after photo the tooth size and line are cleaned up, and people also say my impression looks much neater.. The one thing I really disliked about my face was my teeth, and now that is gone, so I am beyond happy..!! What I like most is that it hardly looks like I had laminate veneers done, but everything is subtly cleaner.. It does not look too white or too thick, so it feels natural, and even up close it looks like my own teeth, which was great. And even though I only did four on the top and four on the bottom, it was still interesting that doing so few so efficiently could change the overall vibe this much. Seeing the result, I understood why they did not recommend a bunch of extras and only proceeded with the necessary areas. For anyone who has worried about their front teeth for a long time like I did, I recommend getting a consultation. I saved money and am happy with the result, so I wish I had done it sooner.
