Eye Surgery Reviews

Dress review from this community

I first got my double eyelids in high school, and at first I thought they turned out well. But as time passed, they no longer matched my current aesthetic at all, and opening my eyes felt really uncomfortable, so I went for a consultation and then immediately booked surgery and got it done in a flash The consultation itself wasn’t especially long, I think, but the director’s sense for what suits my eyes was so good that I ended up going straight ahead with surgery. The canthoplasty I had before wasn’t satisfactory, so I had that redone too (upper canthoplasty). I also asked about eye correction and had that done together, and I chose the non-incisional method. I have quite a few friends around me who’ve had revision surgery, and compared with them I think I have very little swelling for a revision, which is a relief. I was also a bit worried about recovery because it was a revision. It’s still before all the swelling has gone down, so saying I’m completely satisfied might be premature, but at least because of the canthoplasty and eye correction, my eyes are definitely bigger and opening them feels easier, which is true. The swelling is also fairly mild, so it can be covered with a mask or hat. I already like the shape and the bigger eyes, so now I’m just going to wait patiently for the remaining swelling to go down.
