When I had my first nose surgery 20 years ago, it was a surgery that only inserted silicone into the bridge of the nose. I was satisfied at the time, but problems arose as time passed, and about 10 years after the surgery, contracture developed, so I had revision surgery at another hospital using septal cartilage. I had it done twice already, but the shape kept changing like a contracted nose, and the bridge of my nose looking low kept bothering me..This time I felt it would be the last, so I looked into hospitals very carefully, and after seeing another review of revision surgery for a contracted nose saying they could satisfy both reconstruction and the nose line at the same time, I made a consultation appointment at ID Plastic Surgery. What impressed me most during the consultation was how thoroughly Director Hwang Sehui examined my current nose condition. Rather than simply saying, “Do this and it will work,” he drew directly on paper and explained one by one the internal structure of my nose, what changes had occurred because of the contracture, and why it looked short. He also considered my previous surgery history and explained in an easy-to-understand way which revision method would be safest and yield the best results, which made me trust him a lot.Because this was my third surgery for a contracted nose, I was even more worried than before the first surgery, but the operation ended much more safely than expected, and as time passed I could see the line gradually settling. Most of all, the most satisfying part is that the nose that used to look short improved naturally, making the overall proportions look much more balanced. The nose height was raised without being excessive, making the center of my face look clearer, and the refined line I wanted was expressed well without overdoing it, so I’m really satisfied. After going through multiple surgeries over 20 years, I no longer wanted to touch it again, but this revision nose surgery was satisfying all the way through the result, so I really feel like I’ve finally graduated from nose surgery. My history is similar, with contracture and worries about a short nose or nose height, so I hope people like me can get it done from skilled doctors like Director Hwang Sehui at ㅇㅇㄷ..
