While looking into revision double-eyelid surgery, I searched through a lot of reviews, and Dr. Kim Gi-jae’s surgical photos were the most similar to the style I wanted, so I booked a consultation. Just from the photos I already had high expectations, and once I had the consultation in person, I understood why the reviews were so good. What I liked most during the consultation was that he did not recommend unnecessary procedures. Rather than telling me to add everything and anything, he first explained which parts of my current eyes needed to be adjusted to make them look more natural, and he explained in an easy-to-understand way why lowering the crease line, ptosis correction, and upper eyelid fat repositioning were needed. In particular, he said I didn’t need to do the parts that weren’t necessary, and he also realistically explained how much improvement I could expect after revision surgery, which made me trust him even more. Throughout the consultation, he kept checking the look I wanted and also showed how to shape it in a way that would suit my face best, which really impressed me. The consultation was just as satisfying as the review photos had made me expect, and among the many places I visited, this was the consultation I trusted the most. For anyone considering revision double-eyelid surgery, I think this is a doctor worth consulting at least once.
