I had double eyelid surgery with buried sutures a few years ago, but as time passed only the left side started to loosen, and it kept looking like uneven eyes, which stressed me out I held on for about a year by putting on and taking off double eyelid tape, but it felt like it was loosening more and more as time went by?? I thought it’d be a waste to redo both sides, so I got consultations at two clinics, and at Oho they said it would probably be enough to do revision surgery on just the left side with buried sutures, so I had surgery on only one side!! After looking around, I heard that matching both sides by fixing only one side is harder than just doing revision surgery, but luckily the director matched it well to my existing double eyelid line, so my uneven eyes were improved into exactly the look I wanted, and I’m satisfied! Both the shape and the height are the feel I wanted I was worried the recovery would take long because it was revision surgery, but the swelling went down faster than I expected and my eyes look clearer, so I think if an eyelid has loosened, it’s better not to worry about it for too long and just get revision surgery~
