If the silicone part on the bridge, between the eyes, is swollen because of inflammation, can it be removed and autologous costal cartilage surgery done right away? Is autologous costal cartilage free of inflammation or side effects? My original nose has almost no bridge at all, so I’m really worried after removing the silicone... When I consulted, they said they would remove the silicone and leave the ear cartilage in the tip, but after that they recommended doing autologous costal cartilage about 6 months later. Could autologous costal cartilage cause side effects like inflammation?
