Eye Side Effects@eye-sideeffect

I'm scared of getting sedation during eye surgery..

These days, they do local anesthesia after sedation, right? They say the surgery takes about 2-3 hours (waking up in the middle to check the line). I'm a bit nervous and scared about being sedated. What do you guys think? (I usually sleep on my stomach, and I sometimes have apnea. When I sleep lying on my back facing the ceiling, I snore badly, so I have trouble sleeping.) I saw in reviews that some people said the anesthesia didn't work enough, so it hurt when they were stitching, and that really scares me. Should I definitely choose a clinic where there is an anesthesiologist? But then I don't like the line there.. So I'm conflicted.
