Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

6-month review of two contour procedures (square jaw, chin)! - Yang Yundol Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

This is my 6-month review after square jaw + chin surgery! It has already been 6 months since the operation. At the beginning, I worried a lot about when the swelling would go down because it seemed to last longer than I expected, but between months 4 and 6 my facial line became much more refined, and the surgical results started to show clearly. My biggest concerns were facial asymmetry and a squared lower face. Seeing the left and right sides look different from the front was stressful, and my jawline looked blunt, so I had square jaw and chin surgery. I consulted several hospitals, and at Yang Yundol they explained my face shape and the causes of the asymmetry in detail, which made me trust them. Even after the surgery, they checked my progress carefully on a regular basis and kindly answered my questions, so I felt reassured while recovering. Now, at 6 months, the swelling has gone down a lot compared with the beginning, so my face has become much slimmer, and my jawline feels naturally refined. In particular, the asymmetry has improved a lot compared with before, so I’m much more satisfied when taking photos or looking in the mirror. People around me also often say my face looks smaller and my impression has become softer, which makes me even happier. Honestly, the recovery process was not easy. At first there was pain and the swelling lasted a while, so I felt impatient, but time really solves a lot. For those who are worried because of the early swelling like I was, I hope you won’t be too anxious. It hasn’t been that long since the surgery, but even at the 6-month mark I’m very satisfied with the result, and I’m looking forward to it becoming even more natural over time. I hope this review helps anyone who is thinking about surgery, even just a little!!
