I had my first double-eyelid surgery when I was in high school, but because my eyes had a lot of fat and it was done with the buried method, it loosened a bit and became so thin that it looked like an inner double lid. After I became an adult, I didn’t research much, and since my mom took me to a place that was said to be famous in the neighborhood, I wasn’t expecting much. But even though my eyelids had a lot of fat, they made it as thick as possible within what was possible for my eyes. They did remove some fat, but the skin itself is on the thick side. They also did the epicanthoplasty without overdoing it, only as much as needed, so it doesn’t look obvious, which I like. And it has stayed perfectly fine for almost 8 years now.
