At the time, not only was the shape of my nose like that, but even before surgery my nostrils were uneven in size, and my nose was already crooked, so whichever hospital I went to, they said it would be difficult to operate on. Then, during my consultation with the doctor, his confident style actually gave me a sense of trust, and I proceeded with surgery using a 3 mm septal silicone implant. Now, 9 years later, my nose looks so natural that most people can’t tell I had surgery at all. (Though human greed is greed, so I do sometimes wonder if I should have gone for something more glamorous.) I don’t have any contracture of the nose, and I’m scared to have a revision, so I’m living with it fairly satisfied. When I decided on double eyelid surgery this time, those memories of my nose surgery came flooding back. Back then, he was quite famous here for natural-looking rhinoplasty, haha.
