I’m spending Christmas and the end of the year recovering. Today I got the splint and the external stitches removed, and I feel like I can finally live... It was my first surgery, and I had autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, silicone for the nasal bridge, and osteotomy. The surgery ended really quickly, I had no bruising or swelling, and even the area where the rib cartilage was harvested didn’t hurt much, so I wondered if this was right.. So I was suspicious until the splint came off, but thankfully I’m satisfied so far.. But I won’t suddenly get side effects or anything, right Maybe because nose surgery is at the center of the face, it feels especially scary.. The very bottom is the pre-surgery photo. (+Ah, it’s been so long since I came here that I forgot this was in casual speech.. Right, and I had my existing nasal bridge and semi-permanent filler scraped out before the surgery!!)
