I have monolids, but because my eye-opening strength is good, I was told I do not need ptosis correction and that I can just do burial stitches. To ease the pulling of the inner epicanthal fold in the front, they suggested a slight medial canthoplasty as well. A friend who had double eyelid surgery said they were satisfied, so I went on their recommendation, and when I arrived I was surprised to see a plastic surgery YouTuber I usually watch lol. Among the places I had visited, they did not overdo the diagnosis, so I am thinking about surgery to the point of considering it, but the consultation is clear, though
