I had surgery in 2024. At the time, I had a groove sticking out, so I went in for a consultation about repositioning. I was recommended minor fat grafting that had not been in the plan. The consultation manager trailed off, saying I already had quite a lot of fat..., and then continued that doing fat grafting too would be better, that if I only did repositioning the under-eye area could look sunken, that adding fat grafting would have a midface lifting effect, and that it would be better to do everything at once rather than lying on the operating table twice.
