I went in for a consultation about double-eyelid revision surgery. When I went for the consultation, it was a bit late in the afternoon, so they looked tired.. Anyway, they measured my eyes with something like a ruler and said that if they made the line thicker here, it would look strange.. and that even doing an epicanthoplasty would not make much difference.. It felt like they were saying not to have surgery. Since it was a revision, I was disappointed that they spoke so passively. I wanted them to explain things for my eyes in various ways, but that was not what happened. So
