Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Review of nose surgery consultations in Busan

I went to three places for consultations because of my long nose and hump nose. I was scared of silicone side effects, so during the consultations I emphasized that I wanted surgery without an implant. Except for price talk, I’ll write only about what I discussed with the directors.

1. ㄷㅍㅇㅅ - Director ㅎㅈㅈ Consultation order was consultant - director - consultant. The consultant was super kind,,, For hump reduction and nasal tip using ear cartilage, the quote was 2.8 million KRW. Since my nasal bridge between the brows is low, he said that if I did it without an implant, only the nasal tip might become pointed, like a bird’s beak shape. Among the three places, this one felt the strongest about discouraging no-implant surgery. Even to me, it did seem like putting in silicone would be much better, but it didn’t feel like he was forcing something unnecessary. It felt more like, from a doctor’s perspective, he was recommending the minimum needed for a genuinely better result?

2. ㄱㄹㄹ Director - consultant consultation Before I even said what I wanted to fix, he examined my nose from different angles and immediately started writing the estimate. He pointed out hump reduction, osteotomy, silicone for the nasal bridge, septal cartilage/ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and nostril reduction. He said nostril reduction was optional, but osteotomy was essential. Without nostril reduction it was 2.7 million KRW, and together with nostril reduction it was 3.2 million. For reference, he said they would only know whether ear cartilage would be used after opening the nose. When I said I wanted no implant, he didn’t particularly insist on silicone, and he didn’t mention any concerns about not putting it in either. It just felt like a very standard plastic surgery consultation. Not bad.

3. ㄴㅇ Consultant - director - consultant consultation This was the clinic I liked the most while doing online research. The nasal tips seemed rounded, natural, and clearly well-shaped, and they had many long-nose surgery cases similar to mine. So I had the image fixed in my mind that long-nose surgery = ㄴㅇ. When I said I wanted surgery because of my hump and drooping nasal tip, the initial estimate was made with silicone as a given. Hump reduction, silicone for the nasal bridge, ear cartilage for the nasal tip: the price was 3 million KRW, but 2.75 million KRW on the condition of writing a review on the app. Here too, when I insisted on no implant, he said it would look prettier with silicone. His opinion on my insistence on no implant was somewhere between clinic 1 and clinic 2..? He said it probably wouldn’t be that bad even without silicone, and it wasn’t to the point where he would discourage it. But the nasal bridge might not be smooth. He explained it in the most neutral way like that. He said if I happened to change my mind, I could decide on the day of surgery, and since the price wouldn’t change whether silicone was inserted or not, I should think about it. And it was very clear that he absolutely prioritized safety and naturalness.
