I had a revision done with autologous costal cartilage, and I liked it as soon as the splint came off, but since it was a revision I’m writing this after watching it for more than 5 months. There are a lot of doctors who don’t really check on you after surgery, but this director always saw me during post-op care, kept checking on me at the 1-month mark and afterward, and even did scar laser treatment. I brought in reference photos, and they made the exact elegant straight-but-slightly-angled line I wanted, with the columella also turned out beautifully. The director has a good sense of aesthetics. It’s not been a year yet, but I think the revision was a success.
