I had cheekbone reduction surgery, and although there is no visible cheek sagging or hollowing, the effect was rather limited, while the amount of bone cutting and osteotomy was quite substantial, which is a bit disappointing. Still, at the time my cheekbones were a complex for me, so I had it done. If I could go back, I think I would think more carefully before having the surgery. Even just cheekbone surgery is bone-cutting surgery, so for a few days it is uncomfortable to eat and hard to open the mouth. Recovery is faster than with the jaw or square-jaw area
