I felt like I was opening my eyes using forehead strength rather than my eyes, so I went in for a consultation about ptosis correction. The director said my skin is thick, so it will probably need to be done with an incision. He also said that if I want the line I want, upper epicanthoplasty is needed. He said that if there’s a Mongolian fold above the eye, it covers the front part of the line. He also said that if I only do double-eyelid surgery, even if the line is present from the front at first, over time it may become invisible and look like it has loosened. I chose in-line
