Eye Surgery Reviews

Here is my review of brow lift, lower blepharoplasty, and fat grafting from a plastic surgery clinic near Sinsa Station

As I got older, the area under my eyes gradually sagged, my naturally occurring double eyelids became uneven, and even my upper eyelids started to droop, so my overall expression looked too heavy and dull, which had been a long-term source of stress. On top of that, because I did not have much fat in my face overall, my cheeks had deep hollows and my forehead contour stood out, so I was always told that I looked sharp and tired. At first, I went around to four plastic surgery clinics mainly to look into ptosis correction because I simply wanted to fix my uneven eyes, but as I went around, the opinions differed more than I expected from clinic to clinic, and the cost was also unclear, so I could not easily make a decision. I think the last place I visited, Modern Aesthetics, helped me find my direction. Director Hwang said that if I had been stressed about uneven eyes since I was younger, ptosis correction could match them up to 98%, but now eyelid sagging was the bigger cause, so instead of ptosis correction, a brow lift to raise the sagging skin would be more effective for correcting the asymmetry. For the sagging under my eyes, he said it would be better to tidy up the unnecessary fat and smooth it out neatly through lower blepharoplasty. He also explained realistically that because my face shape was uneven and my cheeks were hollow, the contours made my expression look stronger, so it would be good to add fat grafting as well. He pointed out only the necessary areas without overly pushing procedures, so after much deliberation I decided to have a brow lift, lower blepharoplasty, and facial fat grafting together. Until two weeks after surgery, since I had several procedures done at once, there was still a fair amount of swelling and bruising. But after passing the two-week mark, opening my eyes became much easier, and the fat that had bulged under my eyes started to flatten out. The hollow cheeks and forehead line that had looked gaunt and empty also began to fill out smoothly with volume. From that point on, even though there was still some minor swelling, I could see that my previous tired and heavy expression was being greatly softened, which was fascinating. And now, at one month, with the residual swelling gone as well, I can really feel the effect of the surgeries. First, thanks to the brow lift, the heavy upper eyelids that had been pressing down felt lighter, and the heaviness over my eyes almost completely disappeared, making my eye area look much fresher. On top of that, the lower blepharoplasty addressed the under-eye fat and dark shadows, so the area around my eyes looks overall cleaner and brighter. The fat grafting was especially better than I expected; as volume filled in the contoured and hollow parts of my face, I often hear that my expression has become much softer. Even my husband jokes and asks who I am, which makes me feel like I look younger overall. If the two-week mark was the process of things settling in, then now at one month, the three procedures have harmonized and settled naturally into the look I had imagined. I am glad I chose the hospital well, because I can feel the value of the care I received during recovery, and these days I feel satisfied every time I look in the mirror.
