It’s been about 2 and a half years since my surgery... I went in for a revision, fixed my rhinitis too, aftercare was good, there was almost no swelling, and the surgery was done neatly. The problem is that a little of the nose has been absorbed, so it should have looked more natural, but I had the surgery making it too high thinking some absorption would happen. Now, after 2 and a half years, the autologous rib cartilage hasn’t been absorbed at all, so it’s way too pointy and high... I’m seriously thinking about getting it redone somewhere else more naturally. The shape itself is beautiful, and people around me who had it done here had some absorption even with autologous rib cartilage and became more natural, but mine hasn’t absorbed even a little and feels too sturdy, so it’s way too sharp. Really, nose surgery seems to vary a lot depending on a person’s original nose shape and even the condition of their autologous rib cartilage and their constitution. The director has a good aesthetic sense and prefers a glamorous style.
