A double eyelid I had a few years ago started to slowly come undone on one side since last year. Every morning, checking how the line looked became a habit, and even if I tried to match it with makeup somehow, by the afternoon the asymmetry was obvious;; People say others don't notice it, but the fact that only I kept seeing it was even more stressful.. I felt like if revision surgery failed one more time, there'd be no answer, so I really looked into it for a long time. I went to several consultations only around the Apgujeong area, and Director Park Jae-hee at Motive examined me the most thoroughly. One side had lost line fixation, and the opposite side had a slightly higher original position, so if we only fixed the loosened side again, the balance still wouldn't match. He said it would be better to do revision surgery by aligning both sides together. It was the first consultation where I properly heard why my eyes became asymmetrical. I'm at 6 weeks now, and the most amazing thing is that from the moment I open my eyes, both sides are fixed in exactly the same line. They say it still takes longer for all the swelling to go away.. I'm writing this partly as a record..
