When I made the consultation reservation, they told me there was a lot of waiting at the moment, but when I said I wanted to have surgery within this month, they somehow managed to fit the consultation in for two days later. So after I arrived at the hospital, I had to wait a bit. Before the consultation started, a staff member took photos of my face with a camera. When the director came in and the consultation started, they put my face photo on the monitor and analyzed it, which was a little embarrassing. Maybe they remembered a past surgery case, because they immediately searched and showed data on a patient with eyes similar to mine, which I found kind of fascinating. They asked if I had brought any reference photos, so I showed them, and they adjusted the line on both eyes several times. Since I wanted something natural, I asked for a thin line, but they said a line that is too low would make no difference from my current eyes, and showed me with pen marks where the minimum height should be. It felt like they were paying very close attention to the eye structure. At another hospital, they had recommended incision because I have a lot of eyelid fat, but here they said that since this is my first surgery, if incision feels scary, we could also proceed with buried sutures, though they emphasized that there is a chance it could loosen. They said I did not have to do ptosis correction if I did not want it as an option. It felt like they were giving the patient many choices. After the director consultation, I met with the manager, who was also kind. There was no pressure to leave a deposit, so I decided to go through the rest of my hospital consultations first and then decide whether to book.
