There were rumors about viral marketing, and the reviews felt like they were written by staff, so I went mainly because I wanted to hear an ophthalmologist's diagnosis without expecting much. The claim that the doctor is "cool and detached" is just a polished way of saying they seemed careless. Since the doctor is not a specialist and also did not build up experience as an ophthalmologist, I think it is fair not to expect much in terms of expertise. What real reviews commonly say is that if you do not ask, they do not even explain the basic surgical direction, and that was true. In the review for this doctor, I saw that it was a revision surgery and they had not removed the previous fixation thread, so I asked whether the revision method would be an incision, whether the previous fixation would be loosened, and whether improvement was possible. In the end, they never clearly said whether the previous adhesions would be removed. They also said revision surgery is something you do when there are no problems, but if the line shape is fine and there are no problems, why would anyone do revision surgery? No matter what I asked, the answers were only "no," "I don't know," or "there's no problem." Of course, the ophthalmologist at this place may be right. There were no other people waiting at the hospital, and it was quiet, so if someone's aesthetic preference matches theirs and they want a simple first surgery with buried sutures, they might be able to go.
