I came in for a consultation. Since I had never had plastic surgery before, and because the area was the chest, I felt strangely a bit shy, but it was nice that I was able to wait in a separate room while waiting. The consultation wait was fairly long, but considering that I arrived a little earlier than my appointment time, it wasn't actually a very long wait. While I was waiting, they played a hospital promotional video, so I watched that. Since this was the first place I had consulted with, I couldn't ask many questions actively and mostly just listened to the recommendations they gave me. Overall, my impression was that they were kind, but maybe because I went in knowing almost nothing, I don't really remember much of the consultation content... What I did find a bit strange, though, was that in the promotional video I watched while waiting, they were advertising something like, 'We have 3 doctors and 3 anesthesiologists so one-to-one dedicated care is possible. During breast surgery, if there are not enough anesthesiologists, they often end up focusing on more difficult revision surgeries and cannot pay attention to first-time patients, but since our numbers are the same we can pay attention to everyone.' But when I actually heard the consultation verbally, it seemed like there were only 2 anesthesiologists and they were moving between multiple rooms..;; When I asked the consultation manager, she said it's uncommon for an anesthesiologist to stay in just one room the whole time and that it was not a big issue... Of course that may be true, but in the promotional video they made it sound like that would be a problem, and then in reality they said something different... It was a point that really damaged my trust overall...
