It has been about one month since I had incisional double-eyelid surgery, upper canthoplasty, and lateral lower canthoplasty. I did not really plan on cosmetic surgery at first, but when I saw my friends getting prettier after double-eyelid surgery or double-eyelid plus canthoplasty, I started wanting it too. I did not look into a hospital separately and only went to consult at hospitals where my friends had surgery. This clinic seemed to understand my eyes best when explaining things, so I had the surgery there. When I said I wanted a semi-out line, they told me that with my eyes as they are now, if I did only double-eyelid surgery, the front line could disappear because of the Mongolian fold. They explained that if I also had upper canthoplasty, the line would not disappear and the semi-out shape would settle well over time. When I checked photos of people with eye surgeries similar to mine, the difference between the two was surprisingly large and the line looked much clearer. They also recommended lateral lower canthoplasty, which I was interested in too, and the shape looked nice. So as they explained, I had double-eyelid surgery plus full canthoplasty, three procedures in total, and the line turned out exactly as I imagined. It looks pretty without any side effects, and because the eyes were widened both front and back, they look much bigger. It has only been one month so there is still some swelling left, but when I went in for a checkup they said it was settling well, so I plan to keep waiting.
