In 2019, with both eyes at -8 vision and severe astigmatism, I looked into vision correction surgery and got a recommendation for this eye clinic from a blog. The eye clinic performed more than 10 thorough tests and consultations and recommended ICL surgery. Their system was well organized, which gave me confidence, and after surgery there was no pain and my vision improved immediately. After the procedure, my vision in both eyes was 1.2, and I had no foreign-body sensation in my eyes or discomfort in daily life, so I was very satisfied. It has been quite a while now, so my vision has dropped to 0.9, but one advantage of ICL seems to be that if my eyesight gets much worse later, I can add LASEK. The downsides are that it is expensive and I have to get checked at the eye clinic every year, but I strongly recommend it to people with very poor vision who are having trouble with vision correction surgery!!
