Wearing contact lenses was so cumbersome that I started looking into LASIK and LASEK. Originally I wanted SMILE LASIK, but was it way too expensive??? So I decided to just go with either LASIK or LASEK, and luckily my cornea was thick enough, so LASIK was possible. I had LASIK without knowing anything, and as expected, not knowing was a blessing. If I had known the process in advance, I would have been too nervous,,, Still, even though I ended up with dry eyes from LASIK.. it was a LASIK with enough merit to make that worth it.
